Beale Number Calculator
Posted by Dinesh onOnline mechanical engineering calculator to calculate the performance of stirling engines by using beale number formula.
Beale number is a parameter that characterizes the performance of Stirling engines. It would be reasonable to expect a Beale number in the range of 0.002 to 0.008. For further calculations, average Beale number of 0.005 is used.

Formula:
where,
Wo = power output of the engine
P = mean average gas pressure
F = engine cycle frequency
V = swept volume of the power piston
Bn = Beale number
