Bulk Unit Weight Formula

Equation for calculate bulk unit weight is,

$\gamma b=\frac{W_t}{V_t}=\frac{\rho st + Se}{(e + 1)}\times g$

Where:
g = acceleration due to gravity (~9.81 m/s²),
Wt = total wet or bulk weight of material,
Vt = total volume,
S = degree of saturation (%),
ρst = specific gravity or particle density (t/m³ or g/cm³)
e = void ratio,
γb = bulk unit weight (kN/m³).
