NER^t_h = [E^t_h.a ÷ P^t_h] × 100

where,
E^t_h.a = Enrolment of the population of age group a at level of education h in school year t,
P^t_h = Population in age group a which officially corresponds to level of education h in school year t,
NER^t_h = Net Enrolment Rate at level of education h in school year t
