Equation for calculate sound intensity level is,

$$\mathrm{SIL(dB)}=\mathrm{10log}\times \frac{\mathrm{I}}{\mathrm{I₀}}$$

where,
SIL = sound intensity level or acoustic intensity level
I = the sound intensity
I₀ = the reference sound intensity
